From the start we’ve been about clearing away the unnecessary things that keep people from Jesus. Simply, we wanted to create a church where all people can discover hope unhindered. It's our desire that you would connect deeply with God and the people that make up his church.

We weren't sent out by another church or church planting organization. Rather, a small team of five people set out to make Hope Community a reality on January 8, 2017.

From the start we have been FOR Minerva. For far too long the church has been known for what it is against. We want to be known for what we are for. We are FOR Minerva. People tend to stay away from people and places that are not for them. Consequently, they think God is not for them, this couldn’t be further from the truth. The church has the most inclusive, hope-filled message in the world. But we don't always do a good job of showing it. This is the problem that we as a church have been called to solve. This is what we are here to do.

FOR Minerva is made up of people just like you. People who live, work, worship, and learn in Minerva. Like you, we love our community. We are for families of all kinds, businesses, schools, and churches because we believe that God is for us. In fact, God is for all people. We want good things for our community and believe that when our community wins, we all win. 

Hope Community had a humble beginning. We weren't sent out by another church or church planting organization. Rather, a small team of five people set out to make Hope Community a reality on January 8, 2017. We have spent time building a core team of people who have are helping make Hope Community a church where you can discover hope unhindered. We are just getting started. We started without all the things most churches start with, a large budget, resources, and teams of volunteers.

Over the years we’ve seen God do incredible things, from providing a location to meet in, to moving in the hearts and lives of people. We’ve seen people take the step of committing their life to Jesus, and others discover their God-given purpose and begin a life-long pursuit of their Creator. We invite you to see how exciting a church can be when the mission is simple and everyone is free to seek God with passion.

What's the bottom line? More than ever, Hope Community is committed to fostering a family built around hope. Hope for the future. Hope for better. Hope for progress. Hope in Jesus. And as we move forward as a church family, inclusion and belonging remain at the center of who we are as followers of Christ.
